Alan J. Rogers is a prolific and successful painter who spends his time between London, Paris, Zurich and Mauritius.
He has sold a diverse range of modern art to clients around the world.
Whilst attending Hampstead Secondary School, London NW2, I was fortunate enough to be given a part-time placement at Hornsey College of Art.
Upon leaving school I had hoped to continue with my art education but unfortunately circumstances did not permit me to. So, as a self taught artist, I would appreciate your opinions, views and critique on my work. I am now a full-time artist.
Most inspiration for my abstract paintings come from when I’m away from reality, which evokes feelings and emotions from situations and experiences in my life: personal thoughts, dreams, adventures, tragedies and happiness. Colour, movement and shapes play a major part in my paintings and they assist me in translating my story to canvas. It expresses my feelings, my emotions, my moods and thoughts, which binds the colours and shapes I use to put down my feelings on canvas.
